Upgrade from 4.x.x to 5.0.9 no product images?

Hi,

Just upgraded a store from 4.x.x to 5.0.9 and all went okay apart from I have no product images showing at all.

Anybody got any ideas as to the remedy for this.

Ive tried the settings/images/update file list.

Checked all the CHMOD settings.

Re-installed V5.

PHP memory set at 128m.

Really struggling now as there are a lot of images on this site.

Check out this thread - if your images are in folders this could be the problem.

Still a no go.

Tried everything in the thread you posted but still not showing images.

Images are in the sources folder but not showing in admin or as thumbnails or prod pages.

I will try another install (4th time lucky....hopefully).

Hopefully you saw my suggestion to install 5.0.8 instead of 5.0.9 before doing it again. :(

Installed V5.0.8 and all works fine.

GREAT! I've found 5.0.8 to be the most stable version yet. If you look at the difference file between 08 and 09 you may be able to implement most of the improvements, but I know I don't have the skill to do that. I'll wait for 5.10 I think, unless each of the outstanding bug reports are resolved with a fix given - rather than the usual "will be fixed in the next version".
