Dirty Butter
I don't know enough to know if this is part of the issue, but I do know there was a V5 version upgrade along the way that required the emptying of cache before proceeding with an upgrade. Can't hurt to try that and see what happens with another upgrade attempt.
Guest danniboy
Hi there thanks for the reply. Tried clearing the cache which does bring up the install/upgrade page again under /setup. Now my system believes it is version 4.4.5 but ruinning the upgrade is still throwing the error: Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 1936719872) (tried to allocate 362181 bytes) in C:inetpubwwwrootweldingshopclassesdbmysqli.class.php on line
Toucan Web Design
Yeah that's quite a lot of memory.. .. should be working fine with that.. you say you're running it locally, could the program you're using to emulate the web environment be limited the amount of memory used as well? Not sure whether you've changed the memory limit in just php settings or the software, only thing I can think of
Guest danniboy
Hi Toucan Thanks for the suggestion. I have added additional memory to iis but the app is failing now having consumed over a gig of memory which has to be wrong!
Guest danniboy
Well the answer to my problem is to disable the mysqli extension in the php.ini
