license key not accepted

Got some problems after connecting an previous & complete database to the restored version of a shop where things were messed up. Categories/Products incl options etc are now OK but debugging I keep getting lots and lots of warnings:like [function.filemtime.php] and [function.unlink.php]???

Also not able to put in licence key. If I do so : Unable to write key file. Please make sure the includes/extra folder is writable. (which is the case, so what?) and sent back to continue with unlicenced version. debug says: [function.file-put-contents.php]

Also there seem to be up to six versions of some products with up to 6 different pagenrs in the url, like this: http://www.nieuwematrassen.nl/mline-matras-p45-p46-p47-p48-p49-p57.html ??? It works OK, but doesn't seem right somehow...

Do I have to rebuild the whole database (which function doesn't work in cc-controlpanel.)

Any light on these matters would be very welcome.

Make sure you have set the correct permissions on the directory structure.... ie cache, images, includes/extra, all need write access (777). If you're restoring, make sure the database and files are at the same version.

Licensing support can be requested direct from CubeCart Support without the need for support credits (if used will be refunded I believe).

OK Robsta, thanks.

Settings are OK, so I think it must be the version/database??? The database I used, which works ok, was built under a (test)domain for which I had no license; so I worked with only 1 admin. I did the same(?) restore before and the license-code was accepted then and no more user-restrictions. This time, as I said, license-code not accepted (OOPS!), strangely enough the branding removal key works well.

I will check the database once more if there's a path or so to the non-licensed domain and then evt. consult CC Support.

... in the db there seem to be up to six versions of some products with up to 6 different pagenrs in the url, like this: http://www.nieuwemat...48-p49-p57.html ??? It works OK, but doesn't seem right somehow...

Do I have to rebuild the whole database by hand (function doesn't work in cc-controlpanel.)?

Any light on these matters would be very welcome.
