Guest spanski
Hi Have installed CC v5 and all necessary directories show as writable. The only screen that works is the install screen. Admin and store just goes to a blank screen. I switched my hosting php to 5.3 and created a new database and reinstalled, but still same. I need to install Zend optimiser, but don't know how, but I know his is not the reason. Hope somebody can help as I'm out of options. Thanks
bsmither
Hello spanski, When I investigated this (from others' complaints), my conclusion was that the setup directory was still present, but CC5 was unable (the reason for such I think I found the cause, but I am not sure) to successfully report the situation. Have you removed or renamed the setup folder? I think there may have been others who reported the cause of their problems, as well. Search the forums for 'blank' or 'white' and see what comes up. Guest spanski
Thanks for you reply This is fresh install and when the install is complete you have two links, one to go to your store ie, index.php and the other to configure your store, ie admin.php. Both give a blank screen. My hosting is with Godaddy and I have another CMS system which installed successfully first time. Thanks Spanski

Guest
Hi spanski, Can you elaborate a bit on how you solved this as I'm having exactly the same problem. When you say ioncube was not in the root do you mean www.yourdomain.com/ioncube ?? And as for the php5.ini file where should this go, and more importantly where did you get this from I have a php.ini? Hope you can help..
