Installation Problems

Hey guys,

I'm having some trouble trying to setup Cube cart.

After uploading all the files to the host and executing the setup I receive the following error:

However, I am still able to continue the installation. Once the installation has completed the page presents two links to go to 'Admin Control Panel' or 'Store Front'.

When I click these links my browser opens a new tab with the relevant URL '.../shop/admin.php?_g=settings' But the screen is blank and nothing is loading. Does this have something to do with the error mentioned previously?

Thank you for creating your signature! I'm sorry you're having issues, but CC will not work properly without either Zend Optimizer or Ioncube loaded. Someone else will have to offer help with what needs to be done. There is a place in my cpanel where I can install such things.

Just contacted the web hosting support team. Unfortunately they don't support Zend Optimiser or Ioncube loader

I had the same problem. i am running centos with Selinux running by default. Selinux seems to cause problems for ioncube. here are the steps i took

1) temporarily disable selinux with /usr/sbin/setenforce 0

2 )I then restarted my apache server

3) rerun cubecart setup

If you do not have ioncube or the zend program running, you will get a blank screen when installation completes
