Resolved - Different Billing and Delivery Addresses May Cause Problem

Hi There, 

 

Recently, one of my customer wanted a different address for delivery while keeping the same shipping address. It is like she wants to use address A as billing and address B as shipping. And she said the edit address in the viewing cart page is not working. I tried myself and found that if these addresses are different: Like If I tick A at "billing address" and B at "Default delivery address", when I view the cart, I will get a problem as:

The following errors were detected:

  • A billing address is required before you can proceed.

No matter how many times I add new billing addresses.

 

As long as the two addresses are different, the error will keep prompting.

 

Did anyone have this problem? Or is there any solution that has already been added in the forum but I missed? By the way, the cubecart I am using is 5.1.4

Thanks for the heads up on this ... it's been a major headache past couple of months with clients having this issue.

 

Now solved ! Should have checked the forum sooner.

Did the 5.15 upgrade today from 5.14.
