SimChris
Yes! Just came here to look for this so I wouldn't run into any gotchas, and also to see if 522 borked the universe for anybody before I touched it (me paranoid, nah?). THANKS! Dirty Butter
Working through making all my mods work with 5.2.2 now on our "test" site BEFORE I attempt it on our real production catalog - I sure wish there were a way to make code changes without having to file compare tediously each time there's an upgrade. bsmither
There is. It seems Simple Machines Forum can upgrade their code in piecemeal fashion. But I see Devellion getting closer with adding more stock hooks and the code_snippet feature. If developers would use these features exclusively, piecemeal code upgrades would be a moot point - but still nice to know that is how it would happen. Dirty Butter
I'm sure the hooks and snippets will eventually accomplish that, but I'd have to pay someone a pretty penny to take all my mods and little improvements, such as those you've helped me put in place, and turn them into code snippets and hooks.
