To get our new Cubecart site up and running, we registered a .co.uk version of the same name with a different host and have built the new site there. Our intention is to point the .com domain to the new .co.uk store when it goes live. We did this because we didn't want to interfere with the original store which is still up and running. Is this the best way of doing it, or should we actually transfer the .com to the new hosting company so the new site has both .com and .co.uk domains? I ask because it's getting a bit confusing when buying mods and they ask for a domain name. The site is best known under its .com name, and that's how it is referred to in all our publications.
