Household 6 Designs Posted October 3, 2013 Share Posted October 3, 2013 I know that I will need to change the domain through the client area. But as far as moving the store from one domain to another (as well as servers) what are the steps. I will be moving all files and database to the new domain on a different server and the old domain will soon be obsolete. bsmither Posted October 3, 2013 Share Posted October 3, 2013 CubeCart 5 does a very good job of figuring out where it is, so there will be no CubeCart code that needs updating. The Store Settings, SSL tab, if you have SSL enabled, be sure to disable it and remove any URLs before copying the site. Before running the store for the first time on the new site, update the file /includes/global.inc.php with the hostname of the new database server and user/pass of the database.
