jeffers
Hi I have added a PostCode Finder to my Add Address page content.addressbook.php" and although it is working it seem to have knock the fields and labels out of alignment. I have tried altering the common.css and layout.css files but it seems that alters all the fields and not just the offending ones. Is there some way that I could bring these back into alignment? Thanks Best regards Jeff
bsmither
If possible, please let us have a web address so we can use Firebug, a Firefox plugin, to work out the css.
jeffers
Hi Thanks for the quick reply http://www.stortvalley.co.uk https://www.stortvalley.co.uk/index.php?_a=addressbook&action=add Best regards Jeff
bsmither
I can't make it mess up and have it look like the image posted above. If I remove the width property of the #sidebar_right, the addressbook form gets really squished, but the asterisks are in the right place and not above the respective mis-positioned fields. Where is the postcode thing supposed to be?
jeffers
On the Address book >> Add New I am using Firefox 21 and it appears when you type postcode in the post code field However, internet explorer and Chrome are not working so back to the drawing board Best regards Jeff
bsmither
I know the javascript is in the code, but I'm just not seeing it. Sorry.
Dirty Butter
Hope you don't mind, but I registered and added a UK address with no trouble in FF 24 and IE 10. The box turned pink when I got down to the PostCode, but if it was supposed to offer choices, it didn't. All were lined up properly. Didn't try it on Chrome. jeffers
Hi guys I spoke to the writers of this code at PostCodeAnywhere and they were most helpful. Spoke to chap called Chris Gillespie who guided me through it wonderfully. As a footnote I tried another Postcode system where the writer supplied some files and documentation for £15.00 The documentation was too ambiguous to be of use, and the writer never answered our messages or emails until I asked for a resolution on Paypal. A little money but a lot of time wasted. Anyway PostCodeAnywhere code works great now and I would recommend it to CubeCart business owners/or Developers Best Regards Jeff Edited October 10, 2013 by Dirty Butter non CC url removed
Dirty Butter
Glad they were able to help you out! Looks like very helpful code for anyone whose sales justify the price.
