Dirty Butter Posted December 1, 2013 Share Posted December 1, 2013 IF your products always use a certain weight packaging, such that it would make sense to weigh your packaging materials and add that to the weight of all your order, no matter how many items they order (for instance if you were using flat rate boxes) then it makes sense to put that package weight here. If you can't reasonably predict what the packaging weight would be across all your items - then put 0 there and take packaging weight into account when you set your item weight - OR use a handling charge that averages out to take care of all incidental charges.
