Kristoff
On our store in settings i've just noticed Enable SSL is reverting to no. Trying to force SSL. The settings are: Enable SSL: Yes Force SSL mode: Yes SSL Root: '' SSL URL: https://www.example.com Standard URL: https://www.example.com I've tried making SSL Root: / but that just ends up in a redirect loop?! Please help, cheers.

Kristoff
Won't that mean that it won't use https unless they navigate to it that way?
bsmither
Cubecart has a set of pages that should be delivered with SSL (registration, checkout, a few others), while with any other page, it is not so important to do so (viewing products, categories, documents, etc). Forcing SSL mode is telling CubeCart to deliver all pages with SSL - regardless how they arrive at the store. Otherwise, CubeCart should switch to non-SSL even if they arrive at your store with SSL. I have no answer for the loop situation.
Kristoff
For now i've solved it by just adding it in the htaccess by redirecting http to https.
