Extra costs per gateway

Hi guys!

 

Does cubecart have the option to set extra charges per gateway? I would like to charge for the use of some gateways, but I can't find if cubecart supports this.

Hi

None of the built in gateway modules support this as standard but it isn't a difficult thing to add to whatever module you want. You do need to consider whether the payment gateway allows you to do that - some allow it, many dont seem to care but some specifically dont allow merchants to do that

That's great! One more question, can i see this charge in the cubecart order overview? I would like to be able to see this on the order summary so I don't have to calculate the absolute total for every order myself. I'm combing through cubecart but I don't see a 'spot' where this extra cost should go and i really want to make sure this is possible before i 'take the plunge' so to say. I can pass this along to my code guy so he knows where to look.
