harrisorganic Posted September 3, 2015 Share Posted September 3, 2015 With Brian's most valuable help the situation has been resolved.The answer to the solution is the following:The names of all the parts in the following files needs to be the same. If you want the new name to be "Carrier" then you will need to check or change for this.1: Go to the shipping module folder containing your new named AIO .shipping, ie Carrier2: Open shipping.class,php and check the name is not AIOS.about Line 29class Carrier{3. If it is; change it to your required name.4. Open the config.xml file, check the name is correct.ie
Carrier
With these changes the shipping costs should show up at the check out.regardsDuncan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Dirty Butter Posted September 3, 2015 Share Posted September 3, 2015 So all naming is what you want AND checkout all works correctly? If so, I'll mark this as Resolved. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

harrisorganic Posted January 18, 2016 Share Posted January 18, 2016 Hi Brian, Since the start of this thread the A_I_O_S module has been updated to 1.0.7 from 1.05.When I updated the A_I_O_S module the renamed module does not update automatically. What to do? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Dirty Butter Posted January 18, 2016 Share Posted January 18, 2016 Does your renamed "Carrier" folder still exist in the Shipping Modules? It's not showing on the list. Doing all the renaming with the 1.0.7 AIOS version didn't work? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bsmither Posted January 18, 2016 Share Posted January 18, 2016 Using the "token" system will update the appropriately named plugin.Since cubecart.com does not know about "Postage", you will need to update that manually.To get the renamed AIOS (Postage) from 105 to 107:config.xml, line 8: <version>1.0.7</version> shipping.class.php, line 258: if ($this->_weight < $r['min_weight'] && $r['min_weight'] > 0) { /admin/index.inc.php, lines 209-219: /* ADD/EDIT/DELETE SHIPPING ZONE */ if (isset($_GET['delete_zone']) && !empty($_GET['delete_zone']) && Admin::getInstance()->permissions('settings', CC_PERM_DELETE)) { if ($GLOBALS['db']->delete('CubeCart_shipping_zones', array('id' => (int)$_GET['delete_zone']))) { $GLOBALS['db']->delete('CubeCart_shipping_rates', array('zone_id' => (int)$_GET['delete_zone'])); $GLOBALS['gui']->setNotify($lang['allinoneshipping']['notify_shipping_zone_delete']); } else { $GLOBALS['gui']->setError($lang['allinoneshipping']['error_shipping_zone_delete']); } httpredir(currentPage(array('delete_zone','tab')), 'shipping_zones'); } also on line 362: $zones[$i]['link_delete'] = currentPage(array('tab'), array('delete_zone' => $zones[$i]['id'])); Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

bsmither Posted January 19, 2016 Share Posted January 19, 2016 The stock file shipping.class.php does not go beyond line 347. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
harrisorganic Posted January 19, 2016 Share Posted January 19, 2016 Please see attached shipping.class.php fyi This file has a lot of lines with nothing written. shipping.class.php Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bsmither Posted January 19, 2016 Share Posted January 19, 2016 Your file has a mixture of Macintosh, normal, and Windows line endings for each actual line. That gives double spacing. So, line numbers I gave above should be multiplied by 2 then subtract 1 as it pertains to your file. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
