show prices with and without VAT tax

have upgraded to latest 5.2.16 all ok, any way to show prices with and without VAT, this most stupidest thing missing from CC. thanks

This is already an open enhancement request in githib issues - https://github.com/cubecart/v5.2.14/issues/87unfortunately been logged for nearly a year and agree that this is a very important issue as Trading Standards see this as a big issue

The Pricing tab of the Product Admin page has a "Tax Included" checkbox, which seems to determine whether the price entered is inc or exc of tax.

 

That seems OK, but if it had two more checkboxes, one "Show prices including tax" and the other "Show prices without tax" that would make the system a lot more flexible.

 

You chould choose between showing no price for a product, the tax-exc price, the tax-inc price, or both exc and inc prices.

For the UK, it is a legal requirement (and one that Trading Standards take seriously and can and do prosecute for breaches) to show prices including VAT if selling to consumers. Most businesses if selling to other businesses would want to show ex VAT. As most websites are likely to sell to both businesses and consumers, the ability to choose which price (inc or ex VAT) is shown as default and with the ability to switch between the two is very important. There is a simple mod available for V4 stores from a third party developer but they have said they have no plans to develop a V5 plugin and anyway, I feel strongly that this should be part of core as it is a legal requirement.
