Manual processed order will not show in look up by name

Not sure if any one else has the issue, but if we manually create an order for a customer over the phone, you can not search for that order by name, only the order number ????

5.2.13 but it has been an issue for many previous versions

There is another conversation posted just recently that mentioned there is a two-step process to this:

First, create the customer.

Second, create the order and have CubeCart "suggest" the customer to sell to (ajax auto-suggest)

 

That way, the order will have a customer_id associated with it.

 

(I may have missed something in the translation, but database the customer, then using the insert_id of that record to then database the order, all in one form submission, would seem workable.)
