Shipping weight too high - Canada Post Module

Using CCV5.2.16

 

I enabled my Canada Post Shipping Module and tested purchasing a product. I had not filled in any address at all, this is what came up when I clicked on "View Basket"

Appreciate any help anyone can offer.

 

To add:  I did clear out the basket and do a new purchase to recheck, and this still came up.  I also have lots of countries (including Canada and US) in my zones.

A couple of suggestions:

 

Since you are using Canada Post, I suggest you set your store's store-wide weight unit and currency unit to match the requirements of CP. Those requirements are (probably) Metric-Kg for weight and Canadian Dollars (CAD) for currency.

 

The CP module does not make any conversions. So, if your store-wide setting is Imperial-lb for weight, the rate quotes from CP could be wildly off target.

 

I notice for Origin Postcode, you have entered a value with a space in it. I absolutely do not know if this is allowed or disallowed, but until a definitive answer is obtained, I suggest making the postcode without the space.

 

For the HxWxL of the shipping box (20x15x15), CP requires this in centimeters. Additionally, the CP module is coded to assign these dimensions to each item in the order (which I absolutely do not know if this is correct), a fact that can probably be ignored.

 

For the weight of the shipping box (70), CP does not require this in the data sent for the rate quote, but CubeCart will add it to the weight of the items being shipped. The value 70Kg is 155lbs. Even if you meant to say 70lbs, I am sure CP will balk at this. Perhaps you meant to say the shipping box weighs 70g. Since CubeCart works in Kg, make this value 0.07.

 

For the lines in the PHP: section of the Debug output, you must ignore any item that references filemtime() or unset(). These are a result of the Smarty template rendering engine doing its thing.

I use lbs on my other site with Canada Post and don't have any problems.

 

I assumed (dangerous word) that the weight in the set up is the maximum allowed by Canada Post. Same with box.

 

I remove the box size and also no weight. Canada Post does not come up as a selection Only the flat rate. I added that to see if there were shipping issues or it was just the Canada Post Module.

 

I changed the lbs to kg, deleted the space in the postal code, but no. Here is the top code error I am getting now:

If I look up code errors at Canada Post, there is no error 5000
