jk2125 Posted March 30, 2015 Share Posted March 30, 2015 Setting up my wifes ecommerce site for some homemade products. Most of her orders are generated from within her work place. She makes the items and delivers them to them at work and they pay her on the spot. Some do want to use Paypal though and ive installed the plugin. Right now its sandboxed for testing. Ive enabled it however its the only payment method showing. Is there a way to override paypal or install another check box "Cash on Delivery" Ive seen it on several other ecommerce software makes but Im not seeing the ability to do it here. I am assuming you have installed CubeCart version 6? If so please login to the admin side of your store and navigate to "Manage Plugins". Please go to this web address https://www.cubecart.com/extensions/payment-gateways/paypal-standardand click the Thunderbolt icon next to " PayPal-1.0.1.zip". Paste the given token into the "Manage Plugins" area of your store and PayPal will install. You should then see it on the plugins list and you can check the box next to status, enter your PayPal email address and use the dropdown menu to select "Live". That should be all you need to do. jk2125 Posted March 30, 2015 Author Share Posted March 30, 2015 Thanks for the reply Al I actually need for her customers to be able to choose the payment method of paypal or cash on delivery. BigDon Posted March 30, 2015 Share Posted March 30, 2015 JK, You can allow customers to print an order form and then send you a check/pay by CC is probably the closest to what you want to do. Go into Payment Modules and select "Print Order Form." Fill out the requiste fields and then your customers will have the option of either paying up-front via credit card on the site or giving your wife a check / CC number. The drawback to that option is you will need to clear the payment and mark the order as paid by hand as there is no automatic option for that.
