Al Brookbanks Posted April 14, 2015 Share Posted April 14, 2015 It will only work with the Foundation skin unless the existing skin is updated as necessary. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
havenswift-hosting Posted April 14, 2015 Share Posted April 14, 2015 It will only work with the Foundation skin unless the existing skin is updated as necessary.AlThis was exactly the type of thing I was thinking about when requesting a list of changes that would need to be made to V5 skins in order for them to work with V6. V5 skins were supposed to be 100% compatible with V6 but things like this mean that they arent and without having a list and a guide for what changes need to be done it is going to mean a lot of people running V5 skins are going to have problems and may not go to V6Ian Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Robo Posted April 14, 2015 Author Share Posted April 14, 2015 ok so how to update the skin ? i use kurouto .. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Al Brookbanks Posted April 14, 2015 Share Posted April 14, 2015 I think it may be as simple as replacing the templates/content.recaptcha.php file from the Foundation skin into the one in your current skin. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I cannot get the new reCaptcha to work in Chrome with the Crosshatch skin.CubeCart Version 6.0.4PHP Version 5.4.40Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/43.0.2357.81 Safari/537.36Server Software Apache Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Dirty Butter Posted May 27, 2015 Share Posted May 27, 2015 I'm using Foundation, and it is not working for me, either. I have on very rare occasions seen the pictures that we are supposed to choose from. I finally gave up and turned it off. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

kealan Posted June 10, 2015 Share Posted June 10, 2015 I had the same issue with the recaptcha, I am running the store in https. The issue I had was content.captcha.php in the foundation/templates was calling the recaptcha via http requests which were being rejected as insecure. Simply changed the http to https on line 45 and 47 of content.captcha.php and I was good. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Dirty Butter Posted June 10, 2015 Share Posted June 10, 2015 Changing the two calls to google to https:// in content.recaptcha.php worked for me, too! Now I can turn it back on!! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bsmither Posted June 10, 2015 Share Posted June 10, 2015 I learned that by leaving off the protocol, the browser will use whatever protocol matches the one used to fetch the page:src="//www.google.com/rec...." Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Al Brookbanks Posted June 11, 2015 Share Posted June 11, 2015 So long as there is an open github issue we'll be on it soon. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

SemperFi Posted August 17, 2015 Share Posted August 17, 2015 Recently I upgraded a customers CC5 store to CC6, using the blueprint skin.After doing the upgrade, old recaptcha would not work as part of the checkout registration.As part of fixing that, I also implemented new recaptcha.Below is how I did that for that specific store.Step 1Backup the 'main.php' and 'content.recaptcha.php' template files for the skin you are using.Step 2Copy the 'content.recaptcha.php' and 'content.recaptcha.head.php' templates from the foundation skin to your skin.Step 3Edit your skins 'main.php' template file.Find This:</head>Above That Add This:{include file='templates/content.recaptcha.head.php'}Step 4Edit your skins 'content.recaptcha.head.php' template file.Replace the content with this:{if $RECAPTCHA==='2'} <script type="text/javascript"> var onloadCallback = function() { grecaptcha.render('new_recaptcha_element', { 'sitekey' : '{$CONFIG.recaptcha_public_key}' }); }; </script> {/if}Step 5Edit your skins 'content.recaptcha.php' template file.Find This: {if $RECAPTCHA==='2'} {if empty($CONFIG.recaptcha_public_key) || empty($CONFIG.recaptcha_secret_key)} <p>{$LANG.form.recaptcha_key_not_set}</p> {else} <div class="g-recaptcha" data-sitekey="{$CONFIG.recaptcha_public_key}"></div> {/if} {else}Replace That With This: {if $RECAPTCHA==='2'} {if empty($CONFIG.recaptcha_public_key) || empty($CONFIG.recaptcha_secret_key)} <p>{$LANG.form.recaptcha_key_not_set}</p> {else} <div id="recaptcha" class="clearfix"> <strong>{$LANG.form.verify_human}</strong> <div id="new_recaptcha_element" class="g-recaptcha" data-sitekey="{$CONFIG.recaptcha_public_key}"></div> </div> <script src='//www.google.com/recaptcha/api.js?onload=onloadCallback&render=explicit' async defer></script> {/if} {else}As noted above, these steps were done for the blueprint skin but thy should work for other CC5 skins too.
