jvbh Posted May 14, 2015 Share Posted May 14, 2015 Hi — I'm trying to upgrade a store from v5.2.16 to the latest 6.0.4, but I'm running into a problem backing up the files and database thru the cPanel. When I try to run the file backup, I get the error message: The following errors were detected: Error: PCLZIP_ERR_READ_OPEN_FAIL (-2) : Unable to open archive 'backup/files_5.2.16_14May15-182234.zip' in wb modeWhen I try to backup the database, I get a blank screen (with no indication of anything happening) - and no backup is made. moodybear Posted June 4, 2015 Share Posted June 4, 2015 I'm having a similar problem trying to back up my store and keep getting the error. Anyone got any ideas. I've done numerous searches. The backup interrupt and I get differetn sizes of backup. Is there anyway to do a "manual" back up and restor so I can upgrade to Cubecart 6. Dirty Butter Posted June 4, 2015 Share Posted June 4, 2015 I always make a copy of my database via phpMyAdmin in cpanel and ftp a copy of all the files to my computer. Backups work better once you HAVE v6. As I understand it, images are not included and that's where most of the time limit is exceeded.
