Removing cubecart text at bottom

Come on folks show some support and leave it in!! :)

Sorry Al, it is a little too stand out for me.  With the Foundation Skin being pretty much the only one for V6 it is difficult.  I don't want the site to look like it is a standard Cubecart site or OS commerce style site - so we need more skins that look modern and are responsive where maybe that text could me smaller and on the footer to the right maybe - or even a small CC logo.

2 thoughts on this-

1-Take it off and allow the client to think that I did all this myself...
2-Leave it on so I can blame my shortcomings on CC... while I ask you guys for assistance...

Seriously, This is one fantastic product!!  I feel leaving it on is the least I can do to show my appreciation.  I worked with CC in 2005 when one could pay a fee to remove it.  I was very shocked to find it totally free now...  (It is, isn't it?)

(Not trying to start any arguments - If disagreed with, I will not defend my position.  It is clear enough from the start!)

It's totally fine. I understand and you are completely entitled to. :)

There are many other ways to show support like recommending us to friends and family on 3rd party forums, Facebook, Twitter etc...

It's still early days for us with the new model.

I will have to admit, I removed it.. reluctantly though, I read the accompanying message and I stopped the first few times, and then only removed it from the homepage.

My decision was not based on perception of the mechanics of who did what, I honestly just thought it was not very pretty to be fair

Al, if you can give us a sexy powered by cubecart logo / icon / snippit I will happily put it back... you know something manly with lasers or a lightning bolt or something.. jk

Just to bring up a really old comment-- Devellion had a very nice logo (or so I thought) eight years ago. Then they developed the current one saying it 'scaled' better for different purposes and media. I said it was too 'pedestrian'.

The footer shows, but there is some foundation.css code that takes that little white space from between the two pics. I looked at the code on content.checkout.confirm.php where the Empty Basket and Update Basket are butted against each other on Large, but I couldn't get that to work, either.

It's no big deal. Just trying to learn.

There's still a little space between the tan square and the blue CC logo. There is supposed to be a way to make the two stick together with no space in between. I thought I had remembered it having something to do with inline, but what I tried didn't work.

Like I said, it's a tiny space - just trying to learn.

Here's my code on ccpower.php:

<div id="ccpower">
<div class="row">
	<p align="center"> <a href="//u.fsf.org/16e" target="_blank"><img src="{$STORE_URL}/images/source/freesoftware.jpg" alt="Free Software, Free Society"></a> <a href="//www.cubecart.com"  target="_blank"><img src="{$STORE_URL}/images/source/cubecartlogo.jpg" alt="eCommerce by CubeCart"></a>
    </p>
</div>
</div>
