Dodgebill
I'm trying to add the {$SOCIAL_LIST} call from the Foundation skin (found in the footer) to the e-scaler skin but it's not working. I assumed the code for this was in the base code for the whole cart but maybe not. Any idea where to find it so I can get this working?Bill
bsmither
I believe the {$SOCIAL_LIST} is an HTML
block populated by a call to the template element.social.php. So, you may need to copy over that template to e-scaler.
Dodgebill
Thank you so much. That was it. Now I just have to figure out how to make it all work. Any idea how to get to work in a different skin?
bsmither
I personally don't like these, but these tags:are used for the Font Awesome system. Copy over the /css/font-awesome/ folder and add the appropriate
statements to the main template. As I said, I personally would go with an icon set that matches e-scaler and use tags for them. Dodgebill
I copied the font awesome folder and looked everywhere for the code or css that make it work but with no luck. There has to be more to it I guess. I can't get it to show the icons. Any idea where the code is that controls them? There is nothing in the DB that can be used for this. I'm at a loss other than just ditch it and create my own links manually but that loses the cool factor.....Bill
Dirty Butter
I think the Social Links icons are in the store root images folder in the 16, 32, and 64 folders. Sorry. I have icons there, but that must be leftovers from Fusion or some other skin. Edited June 14, 2015 by Dirty Butter
Dodgebill
Doh! I forgot to add the
statement to the main template for the font-awesome folder... It works just fine now. Thanks againBill
