Guest e549ef9440cfc97
Hi everyone,I'm having issues with my SSL certificate. I recently purchased a SSL cert from godaddy and installed it via Cpanel.I'm now in my control panel under SSL. and have the settings as below. Every time I enable SSL (via tick box)and check the store (www.soundmeter.com.au) I get a certificate / privacy error.I'm using Cube cart 6any clues would be appreciated as i've been going around in circles for days now. Dirty Butter
I don't understand why it worked for me, but try deleting the standard url in the SSL tab andSave.
Guest e549ef9440cfc97
if i delete it it just reverts back to what was there when i save. Should it be http: or https: as when i try to add the s and save the same again it just reverts back to http:? Dirty Butter
if I delete it and save, mine saves as https and the certificate Works. If I try to add the s, mine changes itself back to http.
bsmither
This is what my browser tells me:www.soundmeter.com.au uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed.The certificate is only valid for malthael.instanthosting.com.au(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)I will assume what you bought may have been "installed", but perhaps the servers that host your site have not been told to use it.You may need to get the assistance of your hosting provider. Or, if there is a time delay between installation and server acknowledgement of the cert for use, maybe you just need to wait it out. Maybe a web server (LiteSpeed) restart is necessary. There is no delay at a server level when installing SSL certificates so can only infur that it wasnt installed correctly - as Brian said, if yiu havent already, suggest you seek help from your hosting companyIan
bobdonkey
The certificate that is installed is not the right one. If you look at it, the CN should match your site URL, it does not and hence you get a warning. See below.
