Payment Gateway TWINT.ch

Hi Coders

electronic valets are becoming increasingly popular. Especially if they can co-locate all loyalty cards and have low transactions fees. Swiss post bank = postfinance has launched twint.ch with 50% of the swiss population having a postal finance account, they have approx. 4Mio potential clients.

With a free merchant account and transaction fees in the cents range, not 1 to 5% as normal terminals, there are good chances that this is becoming very popular. The post bank in Switzerland is 100% state owned and therefore has good chances to be the national bitcoin.

Is anybody interested to adapt or develop an payment gateway for cubecart.com version 6.X?

For the following shop software, there is an interface for approx 12 other shops availlable.

This is nice, but I do not want to migrate away from CUBECART. So what do you need for a quote?

kind regards

We have developed a lot of payment gateways for CubeCart so might be interested in developing a gateway but there are so few customers in Switzerland using CubeCart that it is doubtful that we would develop it on spec but if you or somebody else was willing to finance it then certainly interested

Thanks Ian for your opinion. As usual, a classic "hen or egg" question. If you build it they will come.

I will try to organise the API from postfinance and then ask you for a quote. Postfinance might well be interested as they have a launch budget for the platform TWINT.CH

Hi Daniel

We have done payment gateway development worked financed by a launching business several times before as they are obviously keen to get their payment solutions into E-Commerce products.  Not sure if you have spoken to them but I am not aware of any Swiss specific gateways available for CubeCart
