[Resolved] Picture enlarge not working

Recommended Posts

So I just migrated a 6.0.8 cart from a test subdomain to my main subdomain. Both from fresh install and the migrated files have the same problem. If you click on the item picture, or any of the alternate pictures it pops up but half the picture is off the top of the page where it can't be seen. If I'm clear as mud bear with me. I'm running on 4 hours of sleep after the migration had issues.

I have other problems as well but one at a time is easier for me to handle right now.

Are you running the Foundation skin?

If so, clicking on the product's image should cause the product's source image to be shown on a "slideshow" sort of effect -- the entire browser viewport is a medium-grey with the image in the middle, and a gallery of the product's image set along the bottom.

The image will scale down as the viewport scales down, but only after the viewport gets really small.

How big is the product's source image?

Can we see the site?

Yep that is exactly what I'm running. the site is https://shoppe.whitewillowstitching.com  and half the slide is off the top of the monitor and of course it won't allow you to scroll up.

Worse I just got my first order on the new cart and it won't let me print a receipt saying  "It has not been made possible to generate the printable file"

Regarding the "printable file", I advise a consult with your hosting provider to determine if any security setting is interfering with PHP's ability to write a file to the /files/ folder.

Just one possible suspect reason is that CubeCart uses the PHP function file_put_contents(). Some security settings may disable certain PHP functions.

Looking at the file /skins/foundation/js/1.foundation.min.js from your site, and comparing it to the file shipped with CC608, I see some differences.

If you have customized your Foundation skin, I can understand you are hesitant to have it replaced by an upgrade.

So, perhaps you should at least try this experiment -- use Foundation's javascript files from a fresh download of CC608. (You will need to force your browser to reload, that is fetch fresh copies of all the page's resources: images, CSS files, and javascript files.)

I will do that. I haven't done any customizing of the skin. Perhaps when I was still using the beta test version when I started the build it was different but didn't override those files the way it should have. I'll re-upload them as soon as I get home.

You were right. It was a permission issue on the files folder as well as one other. Now I can print the receipts as well as finally rebuild the site map and the upgrades through the maintenance features.  Three issues fixed at once. Thank you very much!

I'll check later today.

The reason I bring it up is because looking at the HTML of the image in the "clearing" window, in the <img> tag, there are CSS style rules that position the image. These style rules are not present looking at the HTML of my site.

Now I see that in the folder /skins/foundation/js/, there are more files than what should be there:

"1.foundation.min.js"
"foundation.min.js"

"2.cubecart.js"
"cubecart.js"

"3.cubecart.validate.js"
"cubecart.validate.js"

Please make sure that, of each pair listed above, there is only the file that starts with a number that exists in the folder.
