SynapseGraphics
Hi, I have a client who would like to display a small piece of textual information over the main product images and thumbs. It's basically to display a number with either Watts or Lumens that would be specified per product. Is there anything out there, or how much would it be? Dirty Butter
I don't remember anyone asking for anything like that before and am not knowledgeable enough to know if this is an easy or hard task to accomplish. But it does seem to me that the thumbnail image would be too small for text on top of the image to be readable, certainly on a mobile device. SynapseGraphics
This is the example he showed me https://www.ledhut.co.uk/ if you scroll down to the top selling products.
Dirty Butter
OK, that's not what I was imagining at all. I hope someone is able to help you with this!
JackP
In my opinion, this would be something that would be part of the image for the product, not part of the shopping cart software. The extra information is the type of thing I put in to the images before listing.
bsmither
On one hand, that is true. On the other, it would be a skin-display effect (overlay a red sash/banner on the top-right corner of the image) so that one doesn't have to create separate images for being on-sale, etc. CubeCart really isn't setup to derive custom images on the fly - although that's exactly what CC does if there aren't cached renderings already. Noodleman
I've done something similar to this for other customers previously, depending on your exact requirements I can probably help you out,
