Is there a way to send email notifications to different email address for different products sold? Say like sale of shirts to [email protected] and sale of pens to [email protected]

I would say yes, but one would need to know a unique attribute about the email recipient. For example:

if (customer.class == 'buyer_of_shirts') $promo = "We have shirts on sale";

The above is just a concept, the actual code would be that of Smarty syntax. Or possibly a plugin could be developed.

So, I see the solution of picking a distinct phrase based on a specific customer, as opposed to picking a distinct customer based on the phrase.
