G Dubyah
I've set my stock levels, but the warning system is not working, even though the stock has a value of +1 and the min level is set to 0, I am getting a warning
G Dubyah
Stock warnings appear to only respond to "Global" setting, and not user specific. Sort of resolved !
bsmither
In admin, Store Settings, Stock tab, check "Admin stock warning method".

That is where I made the change, however if you set it to "Use Product Specific" it doesn't work, it still works from the level set in "Global Stock Warning level"
Dirty Butter
I always assumed it was one or the other - so if you want some products to have a different stock warning than the others, you would have to set the warning level individually. Assuming that's correct, you should be able to run a Query in MySQL to add a "default" warning level to each product AFTER you take the Global one off. Then you can change each listing you need to change and specify the desired one with each new product listing.

There is a setting in the product setup to set the stock warning level, this is the bit that isn't working when you choose "Use Product Specific" warnings, the global setting seems to override it for some reason. Dirty Butter
What happens if you leave the global setting blank and set the specific product warning level?
