If I am on the english version of my site and make a search, the search results will show up, but they are in german. If i click on any result I get to the english version of that product. In my experience, when a language, for no apparent reason, loses certain parts of its configuration (such as the default language), then we need to examine how reliable the database is at fetching the store's configuration array. German is the language pack de-DE.xml and is the first language pack in a sorted list of language codes. Thus, if CubeCart isn't told to use a particular language, it will use the first in the list. Do you ever expect a customer to want to view your site in any language other than the default language? (CC6 ships with only English language packs, so you must have added German yourself?)
