ZeroX42
What is this hooks.xml file, how does it work? How does one use the hooks to trigger a script from a plug-in? Thanks in advance
bsmither
The file /modules/plugins/hooks.xml is informational. It is used to populate a drop-down selector when creating a Code Snippet. The plugin's folder will have a sub-folder named /hooks/. Each script file will be named the name of the hook trigger with a .php filename extension. The plugin will have a file named config.xml that lists all the hooks in the /hooks/ folder. With these two considerations, it's all automatic. The plugin's hook scripts will be imported into the appropriate calling script.
Noodleman
I tend to just use it as a reference file of all the available hooks you can use..
