G Dubyah
Be wary that if links are changed to new links, the old links will generate masses of 404's, It's best to genreate a 404 page wi8th links back to the home pages that bots an humans can follow
foz1234
Also be aware it can take sometime for google to pick up the new links you may wish to fetch as google in google webmaster tools to try and force the new url's.
Dirty Butter
You get 5 chances to Fetch a page via Google that includes all links from the page. And you can Refresh individual pages as many as you want to take the time to do.
Christopher Short
Thanks guys. I rebuilt everything, and told Google to revisit the site, from the developer tab. On a side note, is there documentation somewhere that shows what each of these items do as well as how the settings affect the store? bsmither
In the top-right corner there is a 'Help" icon. Hovering over this shows links that will bring up a Wiki page for the admin page currently viewing, a link to Tech Support and a link to these forums. Unfortunately, the Wiki pages are not at all current.
kostadinmo
I stumbled upon your post from six years ago and thought I'd chime in with some insights. If you're still wondering about those SEO link options, selecting both could indeed clear any custom-defined URLs and trigger the regeneration of new ones automatically. It's a handy feature if you're looking to refresh your SEO strategy or make changes to your website's URL structure. By the way, if you're interested in diving deeper into the world of SEO and optimizing your website, you might want to check out searchseo.io. They offer a range of tools and resources that can help you boost your search engine rankings and drive more organic traffic to your site.
