PeteW1959
I am attempting to set up a new store to use as a test bed. I have created an empty database, copied the zip file onto the server and unzipped it, ran the setup files and entered all the details. Then nothing appears to happen. I have left it for 2 hours, and all I see is a blank screen at mydomain.com/setup/index.php. When I check, the database tables have been created, but they are all empty. When I try to go to the admin page, I get an error message Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /var/sites/c/mydomain.co.uk/public_html/classes/config.class.php on line 223 Any ideas? Al Brookbanks
It's because your hosting doesn't meet the requirements. https://www.cubecart.com/hosting-requirements
PeteW1959
I already have a site running on the same host. This is just a new subdomain.
Al Brookbanks
Honestly I'm not lying. You need PHP 5.4 or higher.
PeteW1959
Just checked with my host, and bizarrely I have 5.4 on every subdomain except this one! It should have automatically been on 5.4 as that is the default, but it somehow ended up on 5.2. Thanks for the help!
