rinytin
I did an Extension install using the quick link from the market place, and as soon as the page refreshed, Website will not load now....now i can not access my admin or my cart at all, page will not load. Please help, how can i remove that extension and get my site back up? I went and manually removed that from Modules and plugins and now my site is back up, how crazy, how did that happen? Al Brookbanks
This is a first. Which extension was it and does it have any specific requirement like Ioncube?
havenswift-hosting
What extension and did it have any stated requirements ie ionCube ? If you have access to FTP or hosting control panel file manager, then you can delete the extension directory
turanoh
I am currently in a similar situation. I installed the Bulk Update Google Category Plugin... Which directory would this extension be located in? (so I can delete it via FTP)

turanoh
My CubeCart and PHP version in my signature are not accurate, by the way
Al Brookbanks
.. but it will probably work if you configure PHP with Ioncube.
turanoh
Ok great. Back to normal. Now what did I do wrong?
havenswift-hosting
You will also need to ensure that you install the correct ionCube encoded version for your php version Ian
turanoh
Ok I'll try to do that. Thanks. Is there a simplified Ioncube "how-to" that anybody can point me to? Or does it depend on my hosting provider? I have A2. Nevermind, I sorted it out. Looks like I installed the wrong version of the plugin. Thanks all.
