Christopher Short
I am updating photos for some products, however the current image is not assigned yet it shows. When I deleted the image file, it puts some funky text in place. Any ideas on it? notice there is no assigned photo, but the scrambled text acts like one if you click it. Of course, when you upload a photo, and assign it, it doesn't save on the first try. usually takes 2-3 times before it adds.
bsmither
A browser will show the "title" (or "alt") text parameter of the <img> tag (usually the same as the product name) if there is no actual image data received. It appears that the browser is styling that text which makes it look weird.
Christopher Short
I reloaded the file, and now I have 2 images, yet only 1 shows for the product image section in admin. How do I remove the second image?
bsmither
That's a weird problem. What happens to the image picker list if you click "Show all images"?

bsmither
Yes, a huge list. As you scroll through the list, are there more than one image marked: starred and/or checked?

Noodleman
I checked it for you this morning, it looks OK, so I assume you fixed the issue?

I reloaded the original photo, using the same name, and the scrambled stuff went away. The double image despite only one being selected still remains though.
