slic535
I updated my site from 6.1.2 to 6.1.9 and I get an http 500 error. how do I fix this?
bsmither
Please create the error_log. The latest few versions of CC6 require some PHP extensions that were not required earlier, such as ZIPArchive and MB_String. The error log should indicate which extensions need to be enabled. Al Brookbanks
This is the second time I have heard this but no one has give me the error message yet. So far I have upgraded about 15 store and so far all have been a success.
Al Brookbanks
Updating your PHP version will fix this but CubeCart should work on PHP 5.4. The guys at Softaculous told me this.. Quote "Can't use method return value in write context [file] => /{PATH}/{TO}/{CUBECART}/classes/session.class.php [line] => 634" After further debugging, I found that this is happening because of use of empty() in session.class.php file which only supports variables prior to PHP 5.5 I'll get a patch and new release in the next 24 hours. Sorry for any inconvenience.
dlengines
I had the same issue from 6.1.8 , switching my store to use v5.6 PHP in cpanel sorted it. I had narrowed it down to something with session.class.php . and so copying old version over the top of the 6.1.9 file sorted it. But patch out now to fix.
