peterp
Hi All, I have a client who is running very well on CC ver 6.0.6 however when they try to do a backup of their database using the maintenance selection they just get a blank screen and see no further activity. They have mentioned that when they try to backup their files as a separate backup the result is eventually and error 505. Does anybody have any ideas as to how I can resolve these issues. Thankyou Best Regards, Peterp
bsmither
That's bizarre. An HTTP response of 505 is "HTTP Version not supported". That would probably be a case of the browser wanting to make a page request using a weird HTTP protocol version. The only thing I can think of is that CC606's admin.js javascript file has some sort of ajax request to start a backup, and the ajax request is configured badly. But that is such a long shot. (I haven't looked at CC606's javascript to confirm.)
peterp
Hi Brian, The 505 error is and internal server error 505 and it occurs when they try to backup the files. The blank screen occurs when they start the backup for the database 2 separate issues. If this makes it any different Best Regards, Peterp
bsmither
For the 505 issue, I think a web server error log (as opposed to a PHP error log) should show the error. For the blank page, try creating the error log file. Edited October 4, 2017 by bsmither
