Admin Pages Redirecting to Storefront

This morning from out of nowhere, when trying to add products as well as several other admin tasks I keep getting redirected to the storefront url and the job that I was trying to do doesn't save. This can be adding a product or even trying to view the php info page, its happened when altering shipping rates in AIO Shipping extension too.

Nothing else has changed since I last logged in yesterday, I thought it might be the update to 6.1.14 but I did that this morning after having the problems and it still does the same thing??? there is nothing in the error log either. I'm totally puzzled.

Any ideas???

Something like this just started to happen seems to be a hange in the server environment.

Contact your hosting company and ask if they did anything.

I've been on with them for an hour now, saying there is nothing wrong at their end. Just tried installing another cart software in a separate folder and when accessing it, got redirected back to original homepage again. I'm thinking its an htaccess problem

Maybe nothing 'wrong', per se, but perhaps something changed?

You say you installed some other cart software? Or a second installation of CubeCart?

If CubeCart, and this installation wrote it's standard .htaccess file, then there is something else going on.

Would CubeCart be in a subfolder? If so, is there anything in the main folder? If so, make sure its .htaccess file isn't mangling how the web sever gets to index.php (actually, admin_hAsHcOdE.php) in the subfolder.
