dogsndubs
I have tried to send a test newsletter but it's not working correctly. I type all the text into the HTML content section as well as the plain text section. I then send a test email then click 'Save & Send. When I check the email it has only included the top two lines of the text and when I went back and checked the HTML and plain text sections, everything I typed in has been removed except for the two top lines. Can anyone help? Cheers Marc ps. I've just checked another site which runs CubeCart and this is doing exactly the same. One runs 6.2.2 and the other 5.2.
dogsndubs
Fixed it. It appears that it didn't like the emoticons.
bsmither
Emoticons (emoji) use a 4-byte unicode set of characters. (Internet search on utf8mb4 emoji.) The database needs to have the proper character set collation, and PHP probably needs to be of a more recent vintage. Adding support for this has been noted.
