Order's pending... how to change to processing

I have read all feedbacks on our inability to change the order status, from "pending" to "Processing". Currently i am still facing the same problem till now after trying to amend all the suggested code. What is actually the reason and how to rectify it.

Welcome sirr! Glad to see you made it to the forums.

When CubeCart moves an order to processing, one of the actions is to send an email to the customer, and optionally an email to the admin. We have seen instances that if the email does not send, that is, something went wrong with this step, then then the follow-on step of actually updating the database record does not happen.

So, when the admin moves an order to Processing from Pending, does CubeCart display a banner saying "one or more orders have been updated"?

We would ask that you create the error log. It may show a clue as to why the database is not getting updated.
