vidmarc
We've just been ditched by NoChex, and Paypal is not an option. Any suggestions for payments in the UK, from customers worldwide ?
havenswift-hosting
Stripe are very good and the CubeCart plugin seems to work well as well Ian
vidmarc
I'm trying to work out how to get Stripe working - and their customer support seems to be via IRC channels? Confused. Do I need to enter an eMail address in their control panel etc?
havenswift-hosting
Use Stripe across multiple websites all under a single account - support extremely helpful and quick and definitely not via IRC
vidmarc
I'm in the dashboard at the moment. https://dashboard.stripe.com/dashboard Do I need to enter a payments email address, as per NoChex and Paypal?
havenswift-hosting
No, it is more sophisticated than those - the documentation is extensive and their online chat help is also fantastic
vidmarc
I couldn't figure out the online chat thing. Never used IRC.

keat
May I ask why PayPal isn't an option. ? I use PayPal without any issues. I also use SecPay (now Pay360) which is faultless. But you would rneed a merchant Id for Pay 360 (so a few hoops to jump through)
vidmarc
Paypal do not like the films we sell. It's ridiculous, amazon sells them with no problems.

vidmarc
In test mode, but the Stripe plugin doesn't allow me to input a UK postcode - it's asking for a 5 digit zip code. Any suggestions?
bsmither
In this conversation: https://forums.cubecart.com/topic/52974-payment-gateway-complications/ there are comments about how Stripe requires specific test card numbers when the CubeCart module is in test mode (and the merchant account's panel must also be set to test mode), and it seems the test cards are US-based. So, when verifying card details and having set security verification to to require postcodes match, it will be using a US-format postcode. There are also International Test Cards as explained here: https://stripe.com/docs/testing
Retrodisco
Use Stripe or Square via Virtual Terminal?
vidmarc
I now have Stripe up and running, but for some reason I am not receiving an email from Striope confirming the transaction has been processed. All I get is the Cubecart order notificatin email. I've searched Stripe's infobase but I can't work out how to set this up. Anyone?
