ddub
Now I am getting 404 errors. I see some other issues, but none specifically discussed that the database did not update. My database is 6.2.9 Any suggestions, and or can I move back to 6.2.9?
Al Brookbanks
I've never had to revert any store yet even on an array of cheap web hosting accounts. Check the 6.4 release notes concerning the .htaccess file. Did you run the setup script?
ddub
I ran the update button from within the admin panel. I have read some info, but not sure if it is "the" info that you refer to.
Al Brookbanks
It should then redirect you to the setup process to upgrade.
ddub
Yes, the install bar stops at 60% and then hangs. I changed the htaccess code as per the 6.4.1 release notes. Sorry I had not read that since it was not the same release. But I still have the same issue. I am showing the website is 6.4.2, with a 6.2.9 database and 404 on the actual product pages. And the install bar is hanging at 60%. Thank you.
ddub
Reloaded again, and it took. Thank you.

Are the 404 errors on all pages or are they only on newly created products ? Early days investigating, but I am seeing some sites where the generated seo url for newly generated products has gone crazy !
Thomas553
Did you have any sort of SSL VPN set up? According to the release notes there might be some issues with SSL VPN, though may be limited to Radius Auth
