Cue order message?

I was wondering if this has been asked before. not sure what I would type to find it.

since I custom make my items in a first come first serve basis I am wondering if there is a way to implement an order cue.  Like once a customer places an order he would be provided with a message saying something along the lines of "your order is  #3 on the list.  

Would this be hard to do?  is there a mod for this?  is it something I would need to get built?

I've been asking so many questions since starting working with cc I'm gonna change my name to pest soon.. lol

I have the latest version of CC and using Foundation

I would imagine it wouldn't be "hard" to program, once we figure out how it could be done.
