categories not showing in menu

When adding/editing products, categories, documents, etc, CubeCart will blink a button at the top-right corner of the admin screens indicating that the cache should be cleared. Until that happens, those changes will not be seen. CubeCart caches the results of database queries and will first query the cache before tasking the database.

Also, there is a setting that will or will not show categories that are empty. (Admin, Store Settings, Layout tab, "Display empty categories")
