jeffg23
New to CubeCart, have done Zencart for the last 15 years. Got too complicated. So I found CubeCart and love it's simplicity! Have it up and running all and only question so far is: Where does it save the file when you create a new document? And what is it asking me for a URL on the edit document page? Does it want me to input a url where I want the page saved? Tried that, didn't work... Jeffg - ridgetopwoodart.com
bsmither
Welcome jeffg23! Glad to see you made it to the forums. In admin, (Site) Documents, these are databased in the CubeCart_documents table. If(!) you have some other kind of document (a whole web page) already built (perhaps located elsewhere), you would enter the complete web address in the "URL" text entry field. That web address would be the link's target in the list of Site Documents (Information box) shown on your pages. (For Foundation, that is at the bottom.) An example would be a separately-powered, outside of CubeCart's control, "Contact Us" page. Another example would be a link to a related, alternate site.
