I want to be able to give a certain customer group a 10% discount on whatever they buy anytime they buy it. I looked at using the pricing feature for retail vs groups, but that seems a bit painful for what I am trying to do. I was originally thinking I could issue a promo coupon to the people that should get the discount, but I could not see how to restrict it to only them. Then from googling I found the customer group stuff, that has lead me here. So the question is can I somehow apply a given discount automatically to a certain customer?
