Upgrading to PHP 8.0

Recommended Posts

Currently I am using a shared host and running PHP 7.4.30 for which they are stopping support later this year and want me to switch to PHP 8.0

I am currently using Cubecart 6.4.5 is it possible to use this on PHP 8.0? If so what do I need to change?

If I need to upgrade to Cubecart 6.5 will this help and also can I use 6.5 without using the fancy search?

Thanks in advance.

CC645 is not 100% compatible with PHP8.

For the past few weeks, the programmers have been making edits to the current CC64X code to make it PHP8.1 compatible.

So, we can expect to see that in CC646.

We should also be prepared to be upgrading third-party modules.
