Brian T
I'm getting lots of spurious "customers" signing up on my website if I turn ReCaptcha off. The Features tab says that Recaptcha is incomptible with my current skin (but it still seems to say that if I change to other skins). If I turn Recaptcha on, I don't get the spurious sign ups, but no one else can sign up either. I don't know what to do My website is: www.mentalstarters.co.uk Cheers, Brian. Al Brookbanks
What skin are you using? The checkbox version should work.
Brian T
It's Mican Black, but I think I've modified bits of it.
Al Brookbanks
Invisible reCaptcha probably won't work but checkbox reCaptcha will do long as it's at 1.0.3 or higher. Check the config XML file in the skins/mican folder for version.
Brian T
the first lines of the config.xml file say: <skin version="3.1"> so I guess the version of mican is just slightly before the required one? I'm not sure how to change it
bsmither
Please look at these lines:
mican
<display>Mican</display> <version>1.0</version> where <version> is what you need to compare. (The <skin version> is the structural format of the information contained in the config file.)
