little music maker Posted August 18 Posted August 18 I've been using PayPal forever for my business so it makes sense to use it to take payments on my online store. However. I keep getting stuck while onboarding. I follow the steps to log-in to PayPal, then the pop-up window tells me to go to PayPal to set up my account (it's set up and established already) and when I return to CubeCart I get an error message because I didn't click a necessary button to return to CubeCart. There is no such button. I've tried from multiple browsers and I'm stumped. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Quote
Al Brookbanks Posted August 18 Posted August 18 There should be a blue button at the end of the process. "Return to CubeCart". You may have to scroll down to see it or hide a PayPal feedback going over it. Don't use the x in the top of the window to close it. Quote
little music maker Posted August 18 Author Posted August 18 Thank you for this reply. And this would be in the pop-up window where I'm prompted to sign into PayPal? I'm including screenshots of what I see. Screenshot 1 Screenshot 2 Quote
Al Brookbanks Posted August 18 Posted August 18 There should be a button to return to your store instead of that link to PayPal. I can follow up with PayPal on Monday if you wish. Quote
little music maker Posted August 18 Author Posted August 18 Ok, thanks! Is this something PayPal support could assist with? If so I can reach out to them directly? 1 Quote
Al Brookbanks Posted August 18 Posted August 18 Yes they should be able to help. They know the onboarding process for CubeCart as we work closely with them. Quote

This is the message I received: Thank you, the second screenshot, I received seems as if the issue is with Curbcart. Your PayPal account is 100% verified, and in good standing which means you are 100% set up to receive any payments. I would recommend reaching out to them for your next course of action. Quote
Al Brookbanks Posted August 20 Posted August 20 Please send a support ticket with FTP access. Normally we require technical support access but we need to make sure PayPal is working. Quote

edowty Posted September 23 Posted September 23 I have the same problem. There is no return button. I do see a message "Failed to obtain access token." The site is working but there is no payment option in checkout. https://www.shapesoftware.com/cubecart2/ Quote
Al Brookbanks Posted September 23 Posted September 23 @little music maker did you get this resolved? I'll check with PayPal merchant services. Maybe you can both PM me your PayPal addresses so that I can ask them to check. Both maybe... Quote
Al Brookbanks Posted September 25 Posted September 25 1.10.0 has been released which allows for API keys to be manually added. This allows you to bypass the onboarding process which currently has a fault. PayPal merchant services have told us that CubeCart is not the only partner currently facing this issue. Quote
