Guest
Not sure as to the answer to your question, but megamx, you appear to be in violation of the license agreement - the copyright notice has been modified, and you dont appear to have a license (correct me if im wrong, but your name would be in red if so). Guest gws
Hi Megax, I dont know what is happening with your store, but the HTTPS url is definitely not functioning. I tried to force https and got the broken padlock? At one point FF produced a pop up saying the SSl certificate wasnt yours? I may be wrong but I am of the opinion that CC3 has a lot of snags in the SSl handling. I think we will have to wait until the coders get time to look at this. Cheers gws. Al Brookbanks
http://www.cubecart.com/site/demo/cc3/index.php?act=login Watch it automatically switch to SSL If you use cPanel and hot link protection make sure the SSL protocol for the domain is added too. Guest gws
Thanks for the url Brooky,I have made some progress but I receive the following after I log into admin. I am using a shared ssl certificate on this test server, could this have an effect? Warning: main(~agjp/store/classes/db.inc.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/agjp/public_html/store/admin/includes/auth.inc.php on line 36 Warning: main(): Failed opening '~agjp/store//classes/db.inc.php' for inclusion (include_path='./:/usr/local/lib/php:/usr/lib/php') in /home/agjp/public_html/store/admin/includes/auth.inc.php on line 36 Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: db in /home/agjp/public_html/store/admin/includes/auth.inc.php on line 37 This is the url to get to the login https://satellite.secureguards.com/~agjp/st...admin/index.php? If any body is keen to have a look the login is admin & pwd is janecarr. Thanks in advance, gws.

Guest
Still can't get it to work correctly with Shared SSL. this is my cube site: http://www.shockgadgets.com/cube/ the Shared SLL is actually on the same IP as my site, but under the https://mars.nswebhost.com/~shock/cube/ address.... Problem 1: While in SSL mode, cookies don't seem to carry over. I will add something to cart, and then goto view basket and it will say its empty. Problem 2: when i try to login as a customer, it takes me to a 404 page and makes this long address https://mars.nswebhost.com/~shock/cube//cube/index.php don't know why its trying to add another cube on there. if i remove the path to cube it errors also. Problem 3: when you click homepage from a ssl page, it tries to load the homepage with SSL and it doesn't work right for some reason, the shared ssl can't find the cart index page when its enabled for ssl, however it is loaded fine if i do the https without ssl enabled in cubecart. Problem 4: Refreshing the admin page does nothing if you change settings in the global.php.inc file. That page shouldn't cache, and should always read the changes in the file first. It seems to read the ssl '0' or ssl '1' but not the path settings. Problem 5: Somewhere it is added an extra / on some of the addresses, but no matter which slash i remove in the admin panel, it gives another error. here is site http://www.shockgadgets.com/cube/ you can try adding a product to the basket and click view basket. notice the address with extra slash and the empty basket. now try regging and logging in. Problem 6: Can't ever logout because it tries to log you out of the secure session, but when you reload the non https session, you are still logged in. Problem 7: Once you set yes to ssl, admin panel reloads once.. but then if you change anything else if errors due to same thing as problem 3. The path is correct, but for some reason the ssl site is being overridden by the index.php page from cubecart. then when you try to get back in, it double types the path: https://mars.nswebhost.com/~shock/cube/admin/settings/cube/admin/login.php?goto=/~shock/cube/admin/settings/index.php? Screenshot of my settings.: Root Public HTML Folder to store (Include Trailing Slash): /cube/ Absolute URL to store (Include Trailing Slash): http://www.shockgadgets.com/cube Server Root Directory (e.g. /path/to/your/webstore): /home/shock/public_html/cube Root SECURE Public HTML Folder to store (Include Trailing Slash): cube/ Absolute SECURE URL to store (Include Trailing Slash): https://mars.nswebhost.com/~shock/cube/ Server SECURE Root Directory (/path/to/your/secure/webstore): /home/shock/public_html/cube Some of those "include trailing slashes" seem wrong. These things need to be fixed before releasing cc final.
