Guest spence Posted April 22, 2005 Share Posted April 22, 2005 Hello! I realize that v3 is in "alpha" and that v2 is stable, but I'd like to ask your advise as to which I should begin with? Since it appears that a lot of the mods for v2 have been incorporated into the v3 version, will there be a smooth upgrade script to v3 from a modded v2 cart? Or will that be such a radical change as to warrant installing v3 from the get-go? Are the templates in v3 "finalized" enough to safely start altering the them? Just want some sage advise from some of the "oldtimers" around here if you could spare a minute. Guest Posted April 22, 2005 Share Posted April 22, 2005 If you have a modded v2 cart it is completely incompatible with v3 and all mods will have to be recoded to be compatible with the v3 coding.
